Library display

Today I humbly took much artwork to the Alfred Nobel Library to set up a display.  This is really the first time I have exhibited on my own, not as a member of a group…so technically, this is my first solo show!  As I was setting up, a librarian started asking questions and giving good feedback about my work.  This was very kind of her, but then two more people did the same thing!  So, I am more comfortable and happy!

I took mostly mosaics, since these were the easiest to display.  Some smallish stitched textiles were included too.

As you can see from the photos, this is a two sided display case built into a wall.  The doors are  very reflective glass, making it hard to photograph.

Stop by during May if you can.  The Livonia Nobel Library is at 32901 Plymouth Road, just east of Farmington Rd.
