Old faithful, the Meidiland rose

I LOVE roses.  But they do not love me back.  I am always beguiled by their beauty, bring them home, and then torture them to death.  All except one variety…the Meidiland roses.  These are shrub roses, and truly are carefree.  Mine is a white, alba meidiland.  And right now, it is glowing with a universe of tiny blooms.  The blooms that follow all summer long will not be quite so abundant…but that’s okay.  My neighbors watch for the rose to bloom, people will stop their car to admire it.   My pictures just don’t do this plant justice.
