I am joining my friend, Lynn over at Fibrartysta in on ongoing project. Here is how she explains it:
“Where I Stand Sunday is an ongoing photo essay examining the different places I spend my life standing. Too often we take for granted the everyday places we spend our lives walking on. The ground we tread on has its own stories to tell.”
Yes, most of my pictures will be everyday places. But occasionally, I may be encouraged to find someplace special to stand. Today, in fact most of this weekend, was spent filing income taxes for family. The wind is fierce, its bonechilling cold outdoors. Its one of those days that I am happy to stay inside. Jeff has a fire going, the sun was shining on Marlo(the best dog in the world) and I a good portion of the day…its just cozy in here. I have spent too many tax seasons procrastinating on our taxes because I was too busy with others. It makes me even warmer to know that those days are behind me, at least for now. And I smile with an inner contentment, no interior nagging going on about having to do those darn taxes.
