Sunday

12-16-07-007.jpg   We had a snowstorm this morning like we haven’t had in years….seems like that anyways.   6 inches, at least.  Good day to stay in and look out!  I’m lucky enough to be able to do that today….other than taking a stroll to get a few pictures.  2007-virginiaseptember-023.jpgHere is the cedar arbor, haven of many a winter bird, with a very happy clematis(growning on left side) and american bittersweet(right) fighting for space.  I think the bittersweet is the handsdown winner…although we try to keep it under control.

And just so you don’t die of overdose of white, grey and brown….here is one perfect water lily from my SIL’s Lisa’s pond in Virginia…of course that was September, Virginia…not December, Michigan.  Oh well, whatever it takes to leave you with a cheerful outlook!
